One of the most impressive of the new intake Labour MPs, Wes Streeting has been a wonderful addition to the Treasury Select Committee, where his sparring with George Osborne has been thoroughly popcorn-worthy.

He is a former president of the NUS and did tremendous work during his time at Stonewall, where his Education for All campaign tackled homophobic bullying in schools.
