Christian Mole

Christian lives in Chislehurst and in addition to his London In The City role, he is also the long-term Treasurer of Bromley & Chislehurst CLP (and in his younger years, that of Lewisham East).  In his “City role” he is an Executive Director in the Transaction Advisory Services practice at EY.  He specialises in financial due diligence and restructuring advice to investors and corporates in the retail and hospitality & leisure sectors, where his clients include Tesco, Kingfisher, Ladbrokes, Kew Green Hotels and Malmaison/Hotel du Vin.   During the last Labour government he spent two years on secondment in the Department of Trade & Industry.  The highlight of his time there was briefing Patricia Hewitt, the then Secretary of State, en route to a meeting with Jackie Stewart on how to ensure the future of the British Grand Prix.
