A journalist by training, Andrew spent nearly two decades as a financial reporter, editor and City commentator, holding roles including Business Editor of the Observer and Deputy Business Editor at The Times. During the global financial crisis, he was based on Wall Street as US Business Correspondent for the Guardian.
He now works as a communications consultant, advising companies on policy and on how to work with the media.
A north Londoner, he is a member of Islington South & Finsbury Labour Party. He is a graduate in social and political science from Cambridge. In his spare time, he writes creatively. His career highlights include being sworn at by Sir Philip Green and being ignored by Conrad Black.
