What future for the City in a post-Brexit world?

Financial services is one of the industries most at risk following Britain’s vote to leave the European Union and was the subject of heated debate during the referendum campaign. What kind of jurisdiction does London want to be – lobbying for a close relationship and access to the single market, or taking advantage of our newfound freedom to shake off what some call burdensome EU regulation?

Join Labour in the City for a panel debate on where next, featuring:

  • Rajesh Agrawal, Deputy Mayor of London for Business
  • Simon Cook, CEO of venture capital firm Draper Esprit
  • Professor Anastasia Nesvetailova, Director, City Political Economy Research Centre, City University
  • Chair: Sophia Morrell, VC, Labour in the City

The panel discussion will be followed by an audience Q&A. Refreshments will be served after the debate has concluded.
